Emmie & Rex Neate Bursary Fund

This fund primarily supports applicants pursuing an arts course (art, music, dance etc.) at university or college, younger students attending a specialist arts school or course and those just starting their careers.  Grants range from £300 to £1200 annually.

Following on from my training over the last eight years at both the Royal Ballet School, and English National Ballet School, I am excited to be joining the Croatian National Ballet in Split as a Corps de Ballet dancer for the 2023/24 season. This comes after receiving multiple offers from leading companies around the globe. I look forward to what the future holds, and grateful for those who have supported me so far.

Emmie & Rex Neate Bursary Fund

The Emmie & Rex Neate Fund was also established over 30 years ago through a generous legacy part of which was ring-fenced to support the Purbeck Flower Group and the rest was to support young people studying an undergraduate course in an arts subject (art, music, dance etc.) or younger pupils attending specialist arts schools or taking specialist arts courses, and those who need help with the first stage of their professional career in the arts.

The trustees will meet twice a year in September and January, to consider submissions received by 8 September or 8 January, and a response will be sent to applicants by the end of those months.
